Message from the President

After working as a siding and roofing mechanic for more than eleven years, I started my own business and established AN EXTERIOR, Inc. in 1985. In addition to siding(Vinyl, Cement, Hardie Plank, cedar shakes included); roofing(Metal and Rubber roofs included); gutters, trims, cornices, and other exterior works, we also do remodeling, windows, and hard wood floors. Over the years, we continue to work with the best known builders in the Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C. areas. We have even worked on a large apartment complex as far away as Aberdeen , North Carolina and West Virginia .

Ensuing my strong belief in hard and honest work, I select my employees with great care. The result has been a well-earned reputation for exceptional, quality, workmanship, professionalism, and timeliness. Because we maintain separate roofing and siding crews for each component of our company, our response time is minimum and the quality is never compromised.

Company Profile

After 11 years as a siding mechanic, Mr. Se Woong An, decided to start his own siding and roofing business. In 1984, AN EXTERIOR, Inc. was incorporated in the state of Virginia .

Since then, the company has grown in terms of volume and scope of work, as well as personnel, and has become a major contributor to the building industry in the Washington , D.C. , Maryland and Northern Virginia areas. AN EXTERIOR, Inc. presently has fifteen full time employees, this does not include the teams of sub-contractors and other professionals on whose expertise we rely.

We have sizeable contracts with such builders as Arcadia Builders, Bozzuto Construction, Craftmark/Craftstar Homes, Hitt Construction, Miller and Smith, Rocky Gorge and S. E. Foster(Paradigm). A complete reference list is available upon request.

In addition to our dedication to excellence in building, we are also extremely proud of the work we do in the community. Over the years we have supported projects to benefit a myriad of constituents. These projects have included the Joe Gibbs youth program, Mid-South community outreach, Manna, Inc. housing assistance, ARC, to benefit the mentally challenged, and The Korean Senior Citizens Associations.
